Kaloa Games is a game studio based near Frankfurt a.M. with a purpose of creating entertaining games with serious topics.
With our games we want to bring the ease of childhood back to daily life.
Founded in October 2019 all bureaucracy is now done and we can finally start this year.

But first of all - how the hell do you come up with the idea of founding your own game studio?
Well we both dreamed of making games.
Pascal studied 3D game design in Frankfurt but after that couldn't find a job.
Jacky never started studying this course because it was very expensive and - why studying game design if you could study computer science right away.
Nevertheless Jacky didn't studied computer science either. We both decided to start an IT apprenticeship and finished it successfully at the beginning of 2018.

The Steinway Piano
Thats it! You work till you're 65 and then you can do all the things you ever wanted? No, after working as Programmers for some time, we were both sure that we had to follow our dreams and just start making games! We learned 3D modelling and programming, thats all you need to make a game, right?
Yeah... perhaps we were a little naive, there is a lot more you need to know. But we just started to learn all the things step by step!

The future is near!
So here we are, owners of a game company, working on our first game. If you asked us last January if we would believe this, we would've denied it!
But now everything is possible and we're working hard to make a game, that brings back a little lightness to your life.
